How do I choose a tool?

Start with the output you need: a finished social graphic, a commercially usable image, an edit, or an upscale. Compare the relevant use-case page before looking at a general feature list.

What determines a ranking?

Fit for the specific task comes first. We also consider control, usable output, cost and licensing clarity. A higher place in one category does not make a tool better for every category.

Why are some tools missing?

A short list is more useful than an exhaustive directory. Inclusion is an editorial decision, not a paid placement.

How often are details checked?

Pricing and features can change without notice. Verification dates appear alongside source notes; major revisions are recorded in Featured updates. Confirm current terms on the tool's own site.

Are all the pictures direct test results?

Product imagery illustrates the tools; it is not evidence of a controlled head-to-head result. We do not present marketing imagery as output from our own test prompts.

Do affiliate links change the order?
